Am liking the Viva idea at the moment, but there aren't bugger all of them about in reasonable nick.
So I shall keep trawling the tardme etc, but bikes are distracting me lol I found a very tasty Honda CX in Gore, but that's far too far for me to go.

That's a proper long way away! I'll be down on the weekend of the 11th next month for the rally in Christchurch. But I'll have to ship my gear down from Tauranga to where I am now
It's on the watch list though

Was the CX what got you in to Guzzis?

17 I was with the 1st CX, droped it bout once every 2 weeks, just when turning around sorta thing, then the GSX750 note its a EZ (round headlight, extra HP and the 1100 dash) but it wasnt quite right
so the euro it was, awesome bike covered many a mile, till I high sided it and it was never the same
Onto the red B, two weeks into owning it and it died... I brought it from a old guy that fixed it up after it was toatled, turns out it was a mates and just had a fucked front end, the oll boy replaced it but never relised the oil pump that was at the front of the bike was cracked when the forks folded back into the engine (they sprang back out so hey who would a guessed) so rebuilt peped up cam, compression etc, bigger carbs and hiff a efe fairing and resonators on it and what a legond I became... 'dangerous' was bourn 4 bikes went down trying to keep up or get away including a Z1 and new FZR6
Then the Turbo, wee farking heeee... ended up out riding it, the 80's brakes just wouldnt do it sceared the shit out a me so went to my 1st guzzi a 1100i sport

now... im just a old red headed cunt, a has been... they were the fucking days...
    cheers DD
