    Me bad - not OHC

    And later ones topped 128hp.

    No, not bad...

A case of "Phat Phinger Syndrome" - considering the proximity of the 'c' and 'v' on a qwerty keyboard, a genuine mistake...

    HANG ON...

Over Head Valve, tells me its not a side valve engine thats all?
so... do you mean its a single over head rocker set up?
If so then would the spark plugs not enter the head in the side?

If the spark plugs are in the top of the head and center then Id think its a double over head rocker OR double over head cam?

I've done a bit of checking - yes OHV, seems the spark plugs entered between the valves which were set at almost 90 degrees to each other... so, presumably, it's a double overhead rocker. There is mention of a hemispherical combustion chamber.

Pushrod, with rockers pivoting on two shafts (one for inlets, one for exhausts) and the plugs located centrally. Very similar to the Chrysler hemi (V8) setup, but without the excessive power.

There was one, or possibly two, in NZ with the 318V8 Chrysler fitted. Apparently they went really well.

Yup on an OHV to have centered plugs work you need a hemi head to get the valve angles right.
Would have been twin rocker shaft head as said. Nothing excessive for the time (seeing as Premier the French group, managed a gear driven OHC in 1903 or so)

To be fair this one would have the POS that is the K-series in it.

    I'd like a manual 75 please.

Except the Civic/Domani perform better. I don't know why anybody would bother with a 400/200 series, they're junk. Just buy the Civic with a nice wee VTEC in it and enjoy a better car
