    Strange - a definition:

A beautiful lady with a perfect body drove up to Indy in Rover 620 Diesel Wagon.

She took all of her clothes off, lay on the grass with her legs open and said "Take What I know you Want".................

Hmmmm.................... We all know what he would take

Can't I take it in the back of the wagon and then drive off?

And where the fuck would one get a 620 wag?!

Yip, and that's my point! More interested in the Rover spec than the free bike ride

Why did they not stick with the Sabrina samwich engine of that era?

Because it never made production only a handful where ever made by hand in the competition department.

Not Triumphs finest hour, what were they thinking?

They weren't by this stage British Leyland limited where a government owned and controlled company, the Honda link was to keep the Japanese happy.

A griff/chimaera 500 wouldn't go amiss either. I dont care for the sound of the other TVR engine configurations - even the flat plane V8's dont do it for me. Cant beat that old school RV8 burble, go kart chassis and smooth fibreglass body.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

I do love the rawness of the TVRs that I have driven. Unfortunately, real cars that need driving skills are becoming a thing of the past. The levels of refinement on new super cars just serves to make the oldies more attractive.

That tosser on the news who wrapped his $300k Aston around a concrete power pole is a sad example of things to come

That's not entirely true. My flatmate's Alfa 147 GTA is a very busy car. It takes a decent amount of skill to get the best out of any modern performance car, barely anybody can pedal something like a 911 Turbo at its limit, or even an MX-5. Older cars just have more fun factor at any speed though which is why I like 'em.

    Rover 216 Cabrio

That Indy fellow is certainly a bad influence.

I'd never otherwise waste my time checking out any Rover vehicle.

But last weekend I went to Henderson and checked this one out, with view to making an offer:

    Fixed that for you.

Daughter had one of these, quite nice until the ABS crapped. Think she got a few hundred as a trade-in.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
