    Mental Maestro

I know the owner of the Mental Maestro quite well. He used to sit outside Ferrari dealerships waiting for punters to take test rdrives only to be totally burnt off by an Austin Maestro. He had a Nitrous Oxide kit on it at one stage.

    Any good British 'modern' cars.

Looking at a few Rovers on tardme, but from a few people I've talked to, they're not worth the hassle. What do you guys reckon?

Some of the modern Rovers were rebadged Hondas. Those ones would be okay.

The old man had a P6 (I think that's what the 3.5 V8 model is called) and it went ok, never gave him much grief but eventually the engine wore out.

Runs an alloy 3.5l V8 which was also developed by Buick as a 215 Cu in and later the Ausie version 4.4l P76 motor.

Yep the P6 was a model - I had a P6B. Amazing car but bloody complex and a nightmare to keep running. It had the most incredible rear end with inboard discs and the handbrake was almost impossible to keep up to warrant of fitness standard. It relied on these conical pegs and... well, I'd prefer not to remember any more. Cost me a fortune in shrink fees. The rocking, not the rocking...
