Don't think it was wildy succesful. I have the service manual for it up in the attic.
Borg Warner model 8 and model DG used in Jaguars. Cast iron cases -weighed a ton. Got the manuals for those too (I used to specialise in autoboxes)
Borg Warner 45 (4 speed) appeared briefly in Hillman Avengers and Hunters. Mega piece of shit.

or this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/spec...-351549438.htm as it's already been hacked about there'd be nothing to loose by dropping in a nice wee Ford 260 V8 and calling it a Tiger.
Nice reply. Good to see the range expanded more than 2 models lol

That would have been an interesting trip. They certainly never had...sporty....suspension. They weren't too bad if you set them up in a four wheel drift

Yeah, the V8 is an incredibly light motor, just over 100kg with manifolds on.

    Great video Indy.

My first car was a 1974 Mini 1000. I put a stange 3 head on it and also uprated the shocks and brakes.

Sold it to a mate who wrote it off in the first week.

    I loved that car.

I have no response for that one....
I might clear some room in the garage and when money isn't so tight, I may have to get something like a GB500 or 400 to fill the garage with.
