The six isn't really my thing, if I'm going to have a reasonable size Brit car it has to be RWD and gruntier That countryman is pretty wicked though

Fair enough, it takes a 'special' kind of person to want to own a landcrab in this day and age lol.

The countryman is fucking sweet as. As much as I'd like the Six, the engines weren't too flash and would eat gas like no tomorrow around town. A Wolseley 1300 on the other hand.....

The 18/85 is a big as I really need to go. Besides the Six is exactly the same save the engine and crappier interior

    Special for sure

If it's gonna eat gas you might as well have the rest of the P6 to go with it (that statement makes sense in my head)

Buy lots more Brit cars bro, I can't afford to and chances are my next few vehicles will be two wheeled with Honda badges or a four wheeled BMW

This is true, Hence why I'd rather a TR8 or MGBV8 over an XJ6 etc

Well a second one is seriously on the cards aye, just needs to be smaller than the 'crab

and I don't hear good things about BMW cars, but I can't comment as I haven't owned any.

MGBV8, yesssssssss, do iiiiiiit. TR8 would probably be sheaper though, I do rather like the TR7/8, they're just cool.
Most reliable car I've owned is a BMW Had four of 'em now and I love them (not 4cyl ones, they're where the bad stories come from)

If only one three series and three five series BMWs doesn't count as luxo spec! My ZZT\R with low clip ons and a 5mm bit of foam for a seat doesn't either...come to think of it, the most luxo thing I've had was the P6! (Or a Honda Legend that exploded near instantly)

I sooo want my rover 3500S back :'( I should never have sold it but i got hooked on sidecar racing and sold it to buy a sidecar a few years ago. That sidecar was shit tho haha, wish i had the p6b back.

if anyone ever knows of one for sale for around 3k mark keep me in mind and I'll snap it up straight away, prob has to be south island too - I bought mine for 2,800 in 2008/2009 and sold it for 3k only 7/8 months later and then went to buy another one like 6 months later and the prices had jumped to at least 5k.. suucks

    I did my pre-trade certs on a A35 wagon.
    Cool looking car.
In retrospective it was a stupid idea though and I should have pulled my head in and just done the panels on the rusty, simple, flat panel, falcon instead.
Nothing on the A35 was straight forward. Even the sils were a bitch - they are not simply rounded but in fact 2 slightly conicular ends with a rounded bit completing the middle.

I hated that car after the 12 weeks or whatever it was that I worked on it.
2 cars I never want to own and work with again since the courses, one was the A30/A35 the other is an XJS12.
They put me off being a mechanic or a panel beater. I HATES THEM! (actually the XJS was nice to drive, just horrible to do anything with that engine).
