Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that they dropped the "Marina" name when they fitted the 1700 mill. They were simply called "Morris 1700" and "Morris 1700 HL"

Yeah, in 1979 the B and E series engines became the BL-O 1.7, overhead cam engine, The vans and utes were called a 575. The aussies got the good ones again, with the straight six version. I am yet to see a diesel version though,although some of them around these days smoke like diesels.![]()
