On a British note, who wants to buy something little and excellent (buy a Minor) and swap for my luxury Swede tank
I'll talk it up a little bit:
    It has a beige exterior.
Even the rocker cover is beige.
    It has no curves.
    It has a huge stereo.

That's about all I've noticed (except it has a tasty 5 cyl motor and the best seats ever)
It goes forwards and backwards. I think I turned a corner once.

    It really is.
Which does suit me, but I'm a 5 ft 6.5 young and single chap, don't really need a whole 850 to myself... plus I'm happy in a Morrie

Low ball 'em? say $1750 including the shipping? at that price it'd almost be worth the gamble.

Granted the km's are a lot higher on this one.

Possibly wortha shot, I'll be up near there in a few weeks I think, so if you find something around Te Puke I'll go have a sneaky look/skid and could even drive it to Auckville?

This is what you need, then you just chuck all the baby gear and the baby in the back, tie the pram to the roof and away you go. Actually saw one sitting in a farmers shed yesterday that looked rather do upable.

I would rock it, but the mrs wouldn't lol.

Also I've been recommended to look at Rover 600s as well as 400s

Indy, I had a highish mileage 620si Auto for about 4 years. I hate to say this, but it was a fabulous car. The speedo regularly stated 130Mph, but I am sure that was an error. Great in town too and at that time, I had 3 kids (not at 130Mph) and there was no problems.

One problem with the car only, the passenger side window rubber went a bit funny and had to be replaced. That was about it. The timing belt wasn't cheap to change either. And it does need to be done to save the engine going all Chernobyl on you.

My verdict is that it was a good car and pretty damn economical too, though not at 130Mph.

Have you looked at the Rover Sterling - Not ever owned one, but have driven one a few times. Not cheap to run but faaaarkin nice for a cheap luxury family car!

Cheers for that mate, so that one I linked is a same car? 600/620?

It's starting to get confusing lol

As for things liker timing belts etc, not a cheap I know, but if it needs to be done, needs to be done I guess.

My 620si was older and had a 2-litre engine. Still a Honda though. I can't imagine the MKII being not as good

Great power, even when fully loaded. Didn't have a CAT though
