Had a dung-out of the garagre today and viola' - found a 1969 MOTOR magazine with a Vauxhall Ventora 12,000 mile report, I'd loved to have had that car, all the options including overdrive, top speed 108mph, and such style!

Comment in the mag: "it will comfortabley hold 95-100mph purrring along in overdrive top at well below a lazy 4,000rpm.." (try cruisng at THAT sort of speed today)

What do you reckon a sales prospectus/folio and plans for a Mistral kit car would be worth?
Its dated December 1957 from Weltex Distributers Ltd 452 St Asaph st ChCh

    Blue hardback with embossed logo

It's not hard, what with vehicles being much better today and all that.

According to the booklet "designed for direct fitting of new Prefect (100E model components)" then goes on to rattle off fitment of Morris minor parts. But the folio has a foldout for Shepard performance parts from Prefect thru to Zephyr and Chevy straight 6 (suppose blue flame motor?)

that'd have to be a road ready car? going on the parts price listing in the booklet you could get the whole lot ready for motor & trans for about 160 even the order form has a bit that if you paid 10% deposit you could pay the rest off lol them were the days trust in peeps being honest.
