    Thanks

Thanks for the info and pics That bike of yours looks good, must be new

Can you tell me (or anyone for that matter), are most bikes in Indonesia smaller capacity bikes? (Like 250cc and under?). From the people I've spoken to (granted, not that many) I get the impression small bikes are the normal? Here in New Zealand, everyone wants to move up to a bigger bike as soon as possible. It's an interesting phenomenon.

Is insurance expensive over there? Are bike used mainly for transport, or recreation (fun)?

    Thanks.

I know what Tiger 2000 looks like, its basicaly Indonesia's sports motorbike. I'm not too sure what the CC rating is but this bike is quite well known there. They race them in the weekend and stuff. Before i got to new zealand i thought Tigers were the bomb!

insurance here not be costly so rate 1,9 from bike price.

    Tiger2000 is basically a CB200.
It was released in South American region in 1982.
Honda Indonesia is very conservative in model selection and thus limits the technological advance very strictly.

Plus, the government regulations (recently changed 3 years ago) of not allowing motorbikes above 200cc to be freely imported, and the economical preference (most bike users are middle to lower class population) has made the market to drift more towards scooters and small cc bikes.
Simply put, minority enthusiasts do not count in decision making.

Anyway, the bike is good fun. I owned one. Shocks are a bit on the soft side, but very comfortable around town and pack enough grunt to keep up with fxr150 (fxr is DOHC 150cc, and Tiger is SOHC 200cc).
Frame is steel tube, so weight is a bit on the heavy side. And it's got twin shocks at the rear.

    Halo dart, apa kabar juga.
