    Any difference between the motors on a zxr250 a or c?

    I just replaced my motor the other day and looked at the number stamped on the bottom of the motor and the old one was a zxr 250a and the new 1s a zxr 250c and was wondering outa interest is the zxr 250c more powerful or something?
    I dont know why i had a 250a motor in it in the 1st place though anyway

    * ZX-250A: Sold from 1989 to 1991.
    * ZX-250C: Sold from 1991 to 1999. Changes in bodywork, suspension, electricals, engine and carburettors. Increased in power from previous model and reduced weight. This bike was unofficially rebranded as the ZX-2R in Australia by importers, and was available as a metallic silver coloured import from Japan.

    As far as I'm aware the carbs on the C model are different in that they have a vacuum system, whereas the A model carbs don't.

    I think some minor changes were made to the engines but couldn't tell you what. The C models seem a little happier to rev though.

    It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
