    Angry Annoyed

A few weeks ago I was knocked off my bike by a lady who cut into my lane, yeah I don't care about that but preferred if it didn't happen.
But I'm really annoyed at what one of my friends said, hes all anti bike and reckon they shouldn't be on the road..etc
He didn't say it to my face but said it to all my other friends, he laughed when I fell of my bike and said it was bound to happen and I deserved it for riding a bike, he also implied that he would still feel the same way if I crashed and died from a motorbike accident.
Now I'm not really a sympathy seeker but do you guys agree is a ****witt for saying things like that. I put it down to him being an ignorant american

That's my rant for the day

Why do you still call him a friend??
And easy on the 'ignorant American' he's just ignorant, where he comes from doesn't come into it, we've a country full of ignorant right here.

One day it'll bite him on the bum when something happens to him and you hear about.

It's a nasty attitude that many seem to share.
My ex boss laughed when I had my first off; and even though I was limping quite badly for several days, the sadistic pr*ck sent me on as many little errands as he could come up with. No prizes for guessing that he hated bikes.

people are often affraid of the unknown, and things they don't know. They won't know unless they try, but until then, they should shut up about what they know little about. I'd loose him if he's unwilling to listen and learn, and move on to some better people

Watch that immagrant american comment mate there are a few of us on here.

Anyway yea I say ditch him. Anyone who says that kind of shit isn't worth being around. Even a few members of my family never talk to me or my dad cause we ride. I say who needs them.

I suspect that a lot of the anti bike types secretly would like to ride, but lack either the coordination or courage to do so.

Attribute his actions to jealousy, then post his home address.

He is obviously mislead/brainwashed with incorrect info OR he has had someone close to him die or get seriously injured on a motorcycle to think in that way. However most decent people who do not like motorcycles, still respect our choice for riding.

Either way, he is very ignorant. Like others have said, with all things put aside, he is definetly not a friend.

P.S. Chin up and good luck with getting yourself sorted.

my last bin (on the mighty VanVan) was a fairly low speed wet road affair.
the chump behind me in a cage pulls up beside me while i'm grovelling on the road, yells "get a car!! " and wheelspins off.

i suppose the opportunities to feel superior in a mid-eighties jap sedan are few and far between - he must of been taking it while he could....

I hope you no longer call him a friend. People like that make me

I have no problems with people that have different points of view as long as they respect that you have yours.

It is good you are on here. I have made some good friends on here already and hope to get to know more of you in times to come.

    Take care guys and girls
