When Im rich, Im going to own two dishwashers and rotate dishes between them.

One has dirty dishes, the other clean. When the clean dishwasher is empty and the dirty one is full, the dishes get washed and then they slowly migrate back to the other dishwasher.

    Dish drawer FTW.....

My (now) wife refused to move in with me unless we got a house with a dishwasher.

When I'm rich I'm not going to give a damn how the dishes are cleaned.

If fact, I'll have a use once and destroy policy.

Fitted a fancy Bosch one about 9 years ago. It goes every day and has never had any issues at all.

Well not strictly true - after you get the dishwasher then the issue is who is going to empty the clean dishes out of it (in our case early the next morning). Luckly for me my daughter is now old enough to take on this responsible task!

Dish- draws - since you can run the draws separately I presume you end up going through a lot more dishwasher powder (or tablets).

And a tip form my own error - if you run out of dishwasher powder DO NOT substitute it with dishwashing liquid ....... unless you like bubbles, lots of bubbles, all over the floor and kitchen!

Don't get fisher and paykel or beaumatic. Bosh or LG I would recommend. Should be able to pick one up for around $1300-1500 that will wash your dishes properly.

It was the entire force her to look after the kids, the house, and earn an income while I remain unemployed and drop 20 grand on a new bike that upset the balance.

oh yeah, and the 50" Plasma I bought for Christmas didn't help.

    They are drawERS, drawers...

A draw is what a cowboy does.

And if you have one of them new-fangled electical dish-washin' gee-gaws ya need twice as many dishes, one lot in the washer and the other to use while the first are in the washer...

    We used to too.

Now we just treat them as normal drawers, remove dishes/cutlery, use them, put 'em back and push teh button.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
