Last house we bought a Simpson one, went great and gave us no problems, cheaper than the euro stuff and heaps better than the chinese crap.
Not too hard to install, just need a power point, cold water and a drain. If it's near the sink change the trap for one with a diswasher drain fitting, and if you have screw fittings on the wall for your taps then add in a t adapter and a ball valve and you're done. Power point is usually the pain in the arse bit.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Bosh or AEG
Don't touch Elba cheap Mexican shit. F&P used to be good not anymore.
We've got a 6 year old Westinghouse, a bit of trouble at the start but still going. Wouldn't buy another though.
Hahahaha. My wife made that mistake in her first encounter with a dishwasher. I came home to find suds coming down the stairs...
Now we don't have one. Our one broke down and fixing it will be close to the cost of a new one. Considering the volume of dishes and that it takes about 15 minutes to wash everything - it's much easier to just do them, get it done, and so forth.
Part of the reason why our water and power bills are so low.
Buy European- AEG or a better brand from the De Longhi Group.Or a Maytag.
Anything but F&P which are crap disposables and sell to blindly patriotic NZ'ers and people impressed by flashing lights.
Question: Is dishwasher normal to take 100 minutes to wash dishes? My one has an option that can take as long as upto 122 minutes of washing!![]()
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
I've had two F&P dish draws, with both units having had multiple major problems, they are rubbish, stay away from them.
I'm used to working with those industrial type washers (takes like 30 seconds to run a tray full of dish) while I worked as a kitchenhand. Oh damn how much I prefer that to my home one!
