    Got me a bucket!

So I finally got my bucket
Discovered that i have trouble fitting on smaller framed bikes so decided to go with the FXR, picked one up cheap at turners today so should HOPEFULLY be ready for the next meet at mount welly. Has a bit of cosmetic damage but it is a bucket after all so who cares!!!

    XD XD XD

I might have one you can borrow by then. Also have a set of FXR rims fitted with seriously old slicks you can have on loan if you are interested. I'll have to see if the tyres hold their shape before then if you want them as they have got about 60 PSI in them at the moment, I'll try letting them down over the weekend if you like.

Yeah that sounds awesome mate. I have a handle bar on there at the moment and it is rideable just a little bit uncomfortable... i can see it being even more so if im racing on it.

Yeah the wheels would be awesome if you dont mind loaning them for a while - the rubber on the bike at the moment is pretty bad :s

With the handle bar just strip everything off that bar, put a piece of pipe on it to get some leverage and straighten the bastard. FXR bars are actually really good in that respect.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Hey scotty, I have both std FXR bars that I don't need. The right bar is a little bent but still works fine (I did a bit of straightening as Pumba suggested). I've promised Jeremy (no. 3) that he can have one for his bent bar (I think he goes upside down with the bars so needs std right for his left?). If your's is the other bar (I think it is) you will both be sorted! I'm keen to help. The bars are free. I'm into dirt-bike bars to suit my preferred riding position so don't need them. I'm in Half Moon bay - East Auckland. 0274 990 708.

    Regards

Jeremy, I missed the anti-clockwise oval! I'm not sure why, on reflection, but I was working on my carb at times and also needed a rest between races (old guy). Now, in the oval clockwise race I was flying and held 2nd place for at least a couple of laps behind Grant Salmon. I was fast on the big sweeper - loved it. Great day. The bar is yours. Pick up when it suits you. Regards. Damien. 0274 990 708.

My wife is out that way quite a lot so i may get her to pick it up at some point (otherwise I will probably see you at mt welly if i dont arrange anything before hand)

Got that tyre switched over tonight so I'll bring the wheels next meeting unless you decide you need them before then.

Cheers mate. Yeah next meet should be fine. I will probably spend most of next meet getting it prepared for the track
