Damn, working again. Would love to see that RG500 out, but I doubt you're bringing that one. Have a great ride anyway.

Yep, -5 is pretty cold. 'bout as cold as Chch gets. I'm going to try for at least a short run tomorrow as I've been playing with the suspension on the FZR. My helper and I put in shorter 'dog bones' in the rear linkage today to raise the rear end and hopefully improve the balance and quicken the steering. I didn't get to go for a run on it as she-who-must-be-obeyed was out shopping with my daughter and my boy Zach was asleep. However my helper went for a run before and after- bloody hoon! With quotes like "must be something on that corner- nearly lost the back end" and "bloody black ice up on the hill" or "it wheelies nicely" and "definitely something on that corner- both ends went that time", and my personal favourite "she's certainly got the legs- 200k in third...", I'm really not sure if I should let this particular hoon on my poor old bike again...

So, where was I- Ah yes if it brightens up tomorrow I'll head out for a wobble.

You're brave I wouldn't let him loose with a wheelbarrow let alone a bike

So you value your wheelbarrow more than your bucket then?

Yep- glad I couldn't see or hear what he was up to- might have cried watching my baby get abused like that....do you know the hoon to whom I am referring then?

As for the cold- you should get some heated grips D- the 'hoon' commented that he didn't notice the black ice till it was nearly too late as his hands weren't cold...

Bit cold and windy this morning. Light snow around Castle Rock. Hopefully it will be better after lunch?
