Eddie Izzard. Enjoy.
Eddie Izzard. Enjoy.
So, it is all that lame huh? :-)
LOL horses for courses, one man's ambrosia is another man's poison. For example I really do not get the excitement over Billy Connolly. He made a name saying 4 letter words on stage when that was daring. He's been recycling ever since. He's likeable enough, I just wouldn't pay to see him.
Billy's an engaging chappie noo doubtabootit - and the world tours have been some of the most watchable television wot I seen.
I liked the act, tired of it and came back again.
My favourite is Kenny Everett - back in the days before all the PC bullshit. (Billy T. James was also excellent on the non PC front).
I'm impressed that Dave Allen and Victor Borge made the list in the poll - I loved them both. Remember watching Dave Allen on the 12" black and white telly we had back in the days.... and Victor Borge was a very talented man.
larry david is one funny jew.
for anyone who thinks seinfeld was the best comedy of all time (as voted in USA polls) he was one of the writers.
curb your enthusiasm is the name of his tv show, and if you havent seen it, its a MUST.
personally I wouldnt vote for any of the names on the poll.
except maybe Billy T. Bring back Bill T Takeaways!
"I saw, I came, I conquered".
I can't decide between Benny Hill and Eric Sykes. But as neither are on the list its a bit moot really.![]()
Time to ride
