Oh very bloody funny, the Kwaka is sitting out there in the Carpark at this very moment, ridden most days. Speaking of garage ornaments your bike adorned my garage for two weeks which makes it the least used bike EVER to be in my garage in history .
Ive run out of fucks to give

I will be riding back from Tauranga to Wgtn on Sunday so might just pop in to see you all on the way through. Good excuse to check out the track - never been there.

    Big thanks Rodders

Just got home from a weekend ride to Tauranga and after a bit of searching on the way home I found the Taupo track and the Auckland mob having some fun. Rodders thanks for letting me join in for a session and showing me around.
Good to catch up with Loosebruce, still as loose as ever, and met Death Inc.
Great little track with some enjoyable turns.

Awesome day! Cheers Rodders, much fun was had by all.
Had a ball, really happy with my bike setup now, lotsa wheelspin, not super fast(still can't keep up with Loosebruce...)but how I like it.Need a new front tyre though, the 2yr old x race takeoff corsa tried to spit me off a few of times Had to back off a bit.....
Paco gave me a blast on the R1 to get some vid footage of the sky (cheers bud) what a hoot, made me realise how dodgy the handling on the gixxer is,Awesome bike.I'll have to take back all the bad things I've said about R1's now.....
Very impressed with Andy1 on the motard and the bloke on the Buell who was getting some good pace going by the end of the day,and of course LB on the super trick TL....

Smile Awesome Day at TAUPO TRACK!!!!

THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS WHO CAME!!!!!!

Wouldn't be much fun around the track by myself! I was a little worried Wed last week that it would be RAIN ,RAIN and more RAIN for Sat and Sun. Well the LOW dispersed and slowed down and SAT arrived with sunny skies and dry roads. Had planned to go with the KB ride down 22 but ended up leaving 10:30. Stunning ride down -pretty chilled and taking in some great backroads with a bit of roadwork GAP 100 gravel thrown in - like riding on tennis balls
Cool bit of bike cam from PACO of everyone - can't wait to see Deaths track ride with it -will see how blue the sky was !!!
SUN left for short ride to the track in a frosty (wish you were there) zero deg celsius to find the track and Taupo in fog
It only got better as the day went on and I was really IMPRESSED with EVERYONES RIDING - Within their limits but could see improvements through the day.
Then some crazy person suggested a race - pretty much a F3 race with Crf 450, 3 RGV's, 2 RS Aprilias, Gsxr 400 and FZR400 (who did I miss). What a BLAST!!!!! So much fun going as quick as I dare . 6 laps was over far to quick -. So we had to have another one. Brilliant fun. Would be fun to know what lap times we were doing as racing certainly upped the Testosterone levels aye boys!! Defintely the highlight for me was just being out there thrashing bikes with my mates - your a cool bunch

To top my day off a wicked little ride on Mark's CRF450. So strange and different - felt so HIGH and more natural to stick my foot out not my knee and detouring onto the motard track at Taupo. Wicked brakes with So much suspension travel - Mark and Andy - Don't know how you get around the track so quick!
Good uneventful (no tickets) ride home and to top it all off to sit up and watch MOTO GP live. What a day!!!!
THANKS for a great day ALL of you -Hope you had as much fun as me.

Just another post to say thanks to Rodders for sussing this day out for us. Was bloody great fun, never had so much time on the track before, could literally have the track all to yourself at times if you wanted to! Almost too much time as some points, ended up totally buggered.

Being only my 2nd time on a track it was good to be able to follow all you guys around and try and learn something from ya, especially Loosebruce, how the F#$k that bike can go so well has got me beat!

Only hickup for me for the day was loosing the pin that held in my brake pads, which then started to drop out, forunately that was easily fixed with a spare pin.

Predictably I found out just how hard it is to stick to the speed limit on the open road after a day of being on the track on my way back to Hamilton. Fortunately Mr HP never did get to have the word with me he appeared to want to... 'nuff said.

    Thanks Rodders

What a great day, the sun was shinning, the track was in great condition, and the company was exceptional. Just had a look at the picks, and it looks like there’s a couple of good ones. I’m going to post a few, and give the full copies to Paco to put on his web site. Cheers.
