Bad luck frosty. Been there, blown our zx9 motor about 3 or 4 times now and we've given up on the big bore for the time being. racingwith stock pistons and doing ok.

but as my buddy says, after the first $25,000, we stopped counting!

Take it from me, after about 16 years and many, many heartbreaks, we're still doing it - it's hard to give it up. Took a sicky from work and fitted a new set of tyres for the next Vic club race a couple of weeks away.

    See U there!

Yeah and this time stop messing around with the bike and just ride it. Get it nice and reliable - i.e. as close to how it was when it rolled off the factory floor then it won't let you down.

Although I do agree that no matter how many precautions you take you are still not immune. I made my race van bulletproof but it still managed to blow its gearbox out of the blue one day coming through Bulls

Those with ears, let them hear.

Paint it GREEN (As it should be,, or maybe Blue!), and your luck will change!

    Thats the stuff Tony

I second what Hoon says, get the bike running mint, and as close to stock as possible (Like my bike) then fit some Supercorsa Pro's (120/70 and 160/60) and some aftermarket rearsets, and your away laughing

Hey Hoon are you going to make it to the winter series???
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz
    Thanks Colemans Suzuki
    Thanks AMCC
I use DID Chains and Akrapovic Exhausts
