Such sad news to hear from over the ditch. The sidecar community is small so I know the guys & gals here will be wanting to send their condolences to Alan's family & his many friends & fans.
I know next time I get to go out it will be with renewed respect for my rider & fellow crews.
I also want to send a bigto all the fans who were there on the day. You are in my thoughts too.

Sorry to hear this news, Condolences to the family and RIP Alan,
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
Sidecar Bob and I will be going to the funeral. We have both decided to donate our Paeroa prizemoney (in lieu of flowers), as the family would prefer donations to the Helicopter Rescue Trust in Alan's memory.
We both encourage other sidecar competitors to do the same. Who knows, we may also need their services one day.
I will be taking the funds to the funeral in an envelope.

Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??
I would also encourage any solo competitors that feel so inclined, to do the same.

We were having a great 1st race with the Satherleys. Alan came and shook hands with Grandpa & I.
He mentioned to some other friends he was out to have another good one with us for the 2nd race.
RIP My friend.
Heres a great pic of our mate.

Alan, I will always remember how free you were with your good advice. Every great family memory I have ..... you are in it . Even from across the ditch when I needed someone to talk to you were there ........ Thanks mate
I just found out about this. Dunno what to say. Its gutwrenching to hear that such a genuinely nice guy has gone.
My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. AND to the entire sidecar family he was a member of.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Cant say I'm good with words, but Alan will be missed. I'm proud to have known him and raced with him.
For anyone interested in attending the funeral, it is being held at the following:
The main chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Friday at 10:00am
