I more than likely have something that will work ... but it would mean coming up here and looking cos I don't really know ...

If no one else can help give me a yell.

10cm (4") is an awfully big drill bit...

However, most sparkies would have a 10cm holesaw.

Yeah you're wanting a holesaw heh.
Imagine how heavy a 10cm drill bit would be.

A hole-saw is what you require. Hardware stores have them, but don't buy the piece of crap El-cheap-O ones from Mitre 10 and the likes as they would be lucky to enlarge your arse-hole little lone cut through a desk.

Also if you have any homo friends you may find that they have one - I read somewhere about 'glory-holes' once. People are strange things ...........

Yeah, go and buy a hole-saw. Be careful how you ask though. Don't ask for a saw-hole or you may get a nasty surprise.

Crikey, most cable management covers usually only require a 65mm or 85mm hole depending on the size of the cover. You got a real big one.
If you are going to drill this with a holesaw as pictured, take your time and use a drill with variable speed 'cause when they bite, it bloody hurts (fingers and/or wrists and/or elbows). If the desk is made from MDF expect to be clearing the saw teeth very often. They clog up pretty quick and then start burning the MDF if not cleared. Also pays to drill from both sides of the desk surface to stop the bottom breaking out badly.

    Edit: Ah, thats fancy.

If you draw the hole size on your desk then right click over it with your mouse and select cut............................................... .................................................. ........
