We'll see how the weather conditions are at the meeting point and abandon the ride if too gusty and head down to Petone Jetty Cafe.
Update: 7.10pm
Gave the ride a miss. Out here in Stokes Valley the roads were very wet, and Moira came in from Lower Hutt and said it was still raining down there at 5.45pm.
Since then the sun has come out a few times and the clouds drifting by.
Oh well there is next week.

Hi Carla - Look forward to catching up with you. Allowing 45 minutes to get up through Whitemans Valley, Mangaroa, Maymorn, and Te Marua, and on up to the Rimutaka Hill summit - around 7.15/7.25pm I would think we should be there. We'll take a short stop at the summit and return back to the Hutt Valley.
Cheers
News Update - I won't riding the Kawasaki Green Machine sold this evening.

Well the weather looks like absolute rubbish this afternoon.
Over the past two months, the programmed rides on the Tuesday evening for 250c paced riders were certainly well attended by a wide variety of bikes of all sizes, with several rides exceeding 15 riders. While there were reduced numbers for the Alternate Wednesday evening programmed rides there was a general theme that having an alternative ride was worthwhile and practical, particularly with routes and meeting points linked to Google Maps.
Next Wednesday is a 'backup evening' in the event of bad weather for the final Tuesday evening meal destination ride.
In the meantime I have just completed my recent blogg entry that reviews the current Daylight Saving season.

I am unlikely to make any more of the Tues/Alternative Wed rides. Thanks for organising these Guy. It was a good tool for the learners and novices to get out and enjoy social riding at a pace anyone could cope with. My bike didn't overheat too badly!
