Boots to suit the "bigger boned" girl

Jorja has decided that pillion on the viffer actually can be fun. trouble is her lower legs/ankles are um "bigger boned". She's in a size 6 boot foot wise but the boots she's tried are too small to do up.
I did wonder about shorty/basketball type bike boots but I'm looking for other suggestions.

I have Forma 'street' boots....they have plenty of room around the calf and I can still do mine up over jeans

My calves are bigger than most and I bought a pair of R-Jays - they have a shorter boot and are wonderful. I love them

I have just purchased some Alpine Stars "Ridge" boots. They are a bit shorter and soooooooo comfortable.

Try Docs. Nothing with a zip will do the deed sweety. You will need laces or buckles up the legs. I have a pair of ex-police boots that are comfy , flexible soles and really cool sparkly rainbow coloured laces!

    Many boots are extremely narrow.

Look for boots that zip up only part of the way, and then have velcro around the top half....that way they can be adjusted.

I have a pair of alpinestars, can't remember the model, but they are great with the velcro at the top. Not very comfy to walk in tho...

Another vote for the Alpine Stars Ridge boots.

Mutley (Mrs Virago) struggled for a long time to find decent boots that fitted. She needed a wide fit, and she also has small feet and a high instep - she couldn't get her foot "around the corner" in most boots.

The Alpinestars boots are a shorter height, with velco fastening.

    Frosty,

Mrs Mully got hers from Henderson - Forma, I think they are.

Get Jorja to toddle round there and try those on.
