    Hi,

We realised that the 21st was the same day as the Paeroa street races so decided to remove that event.
The website has a whole lot more content on it now, including the ability to book online with a discount! www.hamptondownsridedays.co.nz

Likewise the site for the California Superbike School is up and running too: http://www.californiasuperbikeschool.co.nz/
Couple of glitches here and there which we're ironing out but the booking side of things is all good!

    Cheers.

Great day today - damn hot

Still can't work out how I lowsided through turn 4- dry day, sticky track, tyres in good condition, done over 150 laps at the same pace, not on the brakes, don't think I touched down any parts.

One second I'm looking up the hill - next second it's like slow mo and I'm sliding on my hands and knees. Bit Of a roll onto my back and then up and running off the track (don't want to end up like the guy that got run over).

Picked the bike up and rode back to the pits. Other than scuffing up the cylinder head (and near destroying the head guard that I'd just replaced after breaking it at Pukuekohe) there is no damage at all. Didn't even touch the pillion peg on the ground.

Crash tested parts - my QMoto SPS gloves. Didn't even notice my hand hitting the tarmac at 80kph. the SPS sliders are scuffed up but my hands are fine.

Berik leathers - main impact was my left knee. I have a 5c piece sized bruise. Still went for a run when I got home. No pain at all.
