    Perhaps. If they had removed themselves from the gene pool, then they would definitely be Darwin Award contenders.

    Something smells about this whole story. Like why do a story on Bailey Kurariki now? What was the angle or news interest (prior to this latest kerfuffle)? Why visit the home of a known fellon without clearing it with the Police or probation service? What young Bailey does in the privacy of his own home is Bailey's business -- including showing rightful contempt for the Herald On Sunday.

    Agreed - I think that the intention was to make news, not gather it.

    When I worked for Justice in he early 90's it cost approx $100k to keep an inmate in maximum security.

    He doesn't deserve to be free, and he doesn't deserve to use $100k per year on my taxpayer dollars.
