The days of old when Men were Men

I dug this old sidecar piccie out for Scrivy of Darryl Dowman and John Thompson at manfeild in the early eighties. In behind is Howard Gregory and Tony Price on a TZ750.
Of interetes is the sidecars are on different sides.
Steve Roberts built a fairing for the Dowman Thompson outfit, can't lay my hands on it at the moment but the second piccie is an image of it on the cover of the 82 Cemetery Circuit program.
It was a radical shape for the time.
Anyone else out there got any piccies of it?

I have some of the engine parts from Kevin Wendt's #97 bike in my Katana 1100 road bike that i bought off him after he finished racing.
It ended up with a 1297cc Hilborn injected GSX1100 in it.

They were taken about 1981-82ish it was the first time I ever saw Sidecars in real life and decided one day I would race them

Any other guesses on the circuit? where I live should be enough of a clue

Yep, 1327 Papamoa beach. I remember the 1327 kit on a page of stuff he had for sale, but assumed it hadnt ended up in the sidecar because the limit is 1300 for sidecars. (waits for kick to accuse us of having a big bore kit in the 'busa)
