Great day in Methven. Just rode out for a quick look and ended up staying all day. Awesome racing guys. But are those Motard riders mad or what!!!! Good to have a quick catch up with HOT and Dangerous. Always better to watch when you know someone on the track. Will have to look at the finances and see if I can get my way into a bucket. Looks like you guys have a ball. Thanks to the organisers and the racers.

For a first time event it wasnt too bad at all. Fun little track on the bucket, god knows how you could ride a superbike around there .
Have had better days, the bike didnt really want to play ball, messed around with exhausts and just made it worse! Oh well, couple of days off to try and sort it before Levels.

Well sitting here nursing a nice rear wheel shaped bruise on my rt shoulder and a SV exhaust shaped burn on my neck..............only managed few lapsof practice before "dumping it" but had a great day. Yes there is room for improvement..........bur for a first event and by one of the smaller clubs i think it was an AWESOME day..........all of the spectators i spoke to thought it was brilliant..................Worth 10 bucks just to see Ryan Hampton alone, trying to tame the cbr thou ..........that boy is talented.
Well done CAMS & Methven Lions and all involved take a bow.
I spent a short time with the St Johns ladies and they were very thorough and proffessional.

He's got nothing to feel bad about, he's just lucky he didn't go down as well when he clipped Quentins bike or from the oil coming out of his bike

...was a great day, the huge number of entries was cool but also brought its problems with it, track is cool but we certainly know a few things that need to be looked at IF it happens again, and we hope it does. Thanks for the positive comments and we will certainly be listening to any constructive criticism.

At the end of the day, it was a first for the Methven LIONS, a long time and different committees/members since CAMS has done something this big . I dont think there is anything we can do about the amount of down time due to 'offs', whether ridiculous riding or racing incidents are the cause. ...its the twist of the wrist that is up to individuals....

Buckets on streets are the cure for all ills, I reckon. Haven't had so much fun racing since Greymouth. ...heard a whisper that there may be Buckets at Wyndham this year....could be an unfounded rumour also...?
