Let me explain, Gandoff the character, is made up, whereas, this bloke here is for real making him the possible original.
Like when you might say ''that guy looks like Michael Jackson''....na na Michael Jackson looks like that guy is the correct way to say because Jacko was made not natural.

I think that's critical and popular consensus.
Not sure that I entirely agree either, but we tend to view it from a more motorcycle-centric position than the normie.

This is not a critcism but an observation, because everyday, he gets out of bed and walks about 10 kids to school as one of those walking bus things. And every day, when school gets out hes repeats the journey in reverse. Thats just what he does.

Quite often, older people are retired and have no responsibilities in life- and hence no reason to get out of bed at all. some people just need to feel like they are part of the community, or to feel like they are still useful and doing their bit, or to feel like they are still needed. We are all human aren't we? But the experience, wisdom and uselfulness of older people is often disregarded or overlooked, or ignored because of inflated concerns about their inabilities.

You make a very good point here. Our society is so youth orientated - we lose sight of the fact that older people have a much longer world view and therefore can sometimes see the relationships between events that might appear unconnected to a less experienced person. There is a wealth of wisdom there that is disregarded by many. More fool them. It has been said that "the only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn from history". Waste of a resource IMO.
