Any thoughts on good all season jackets?

Hi guys,

I'm a complete newbie to motorcycling and I'm in the process of trying to figure out what gear to get. I live in the Bay of Plenty where the daytime temp is around 15 to 28 year round. And I'm thinking of going for a good strong all seasons mesh jacket rather than leather. I was planning to buy new on helmet and jacket, then Trade Me for the rest. Any thoughts on what brands/models would be good for a beginner who doesn't want to break the bank?

for the missus jacket and pants and gloves at a total cost of $300 worth a look if you dont have a huge budget

by the way we have found the gear very good with the removal liners and double breasted zips
