Colour Blind? I figured out what type I have.

I've just been doing a bit of research into this and figured out that I'm Deuteranomalous "green weak". Means that some of the greens that are closer to red on the colour spectrum appear as just red to me. Appparently it affects 5% of the males but less than half a percent of females.

I've discovered it's a pain when playing the game I just got, Bad Company 2. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between friendy green and enemy red icons...

Was wondering how many others are the same? Or have a more severe colour blindness? Monochromous?

I can still easily tell a Kwaka from a Honda though, that's all that matters right?

If I ever mistake a Kwakasaki for a Honda, please shoot me.
    Tested 100% normal.
Always wanted to do this test again, haven't done it since I was 7 or 8 years old.

4-5% of males are color blind in some way. The gene is carried by the mother & passed on to sons. I'm red green deficient.

If you tested positive for any of the colour blindnesses, might that have stopped you joining?

Could you see them at all? If you can't you might be green weak, do the other test. Can anyone else see the number? I sure can't.
I can see the other two numbers here:
