Okay, a bit of weird one here, but bear with me...
A few days ago I posted this link because I thought a little effort was needed on my part to highlight the excellent performances Glen and Jason put in last weekend, and others seemed to be impressed with them too.
This morning I was out early working on the little vegie garden and mentioned to SWMBO that when we finally get a place of our own, I want to have a greenhouse to grow some tomatoes, just like my grandad did back in the 60s and 70s.
So imagine my total surprise when I finally opened up the DomPost over coffee and toast, got to section G and found a near full page article on Glen Williams, his racing and his glasshouse manufacturing company, Redpath!. What are the chances?!
What does this mean? F@#$ all probably, but working on the theory that the stars might just have aligned themselves, I've told 'er indoors that we're going to win lotto tonight and I've been out to buy an extra ticket. If I'm still trying to figure out how to get sponsors for the Winter Series tomorrow then you know it's a dud. But if I'm calling for applications from an up n coming rider to join a managed race team for the next 12 months, then you know what happened.
