Harley vs Hyabusa. Is there a more pointless race?

Am I missing something or is this not completely pointless!?

As per viewers comments, next up is a race between a F18 Hornet and a Cessna!

As usual, the Harley was all noise and the Suzuki was all go.

All depends on what the race was all about, I suppose.

Perhaps the goal was "who enjoyed the journey?"

Someone didn't understand what Harleys are for...

(...actually I'm quite amazed it made it all the way to the finish without breaking down!)

Nah, never have, to be honest. Have mates with them though.

I suspect my bike is in need of more repair than 3 Harley's put together at the moment, so maybe I should shut up..

I 'think' the current US national Drag Racing Champion Motorcycle is the Vance and Hines V-Rod Harley.
Not easily confirm-able on the NHRA site. Recent title holder anyways.

    Break that down Musicman? :-P

I used sandbagging in the '59 CA Bedford when "racing" on gravel roads in a feeble attempt to keep the back wheels somewhere behind the front ones and to gain some form of traction when going up steep hills...
