Nice photo. So that's how those UN child labour figures came about. Now if only I could get my 16 yr old to do the same!

After she helped with the bike, she helped with the car too! I was so impressed, she stayed on the job until they were both finished!

Not only do they like spending time with you, but they get a real kick out of doing things for you. The secret line is, " I bet you can't........". Works every time!

And don't forget the treats. Nothing like bribary for training. Bit like training the dog. Heaps of love and cuddles.

    Nice pic Tony.

I never thought about this until now... but... will anyone lend me their kids for an hour? Or I could bring my bike to your place. The reason I ask is, they have small hands, and could get the kerosene and toothbrush into places I cannot! (behind chain, sprockets, etc...)

Heavens!!! Just the THOUGHT of that makes me wonder if I could wash my bike before I have to leave in an hour!

Hell, if I ever had kids, I'd buy a "baby pen" (whatever you call those wooden jails you keep your kids in) for my bike, just to keeps sticky fingers away from it!

    Lexie is a real cutie.
Jim2 & Biff are right about kids at that age.
Wait until she is 13 or so!

She was a bit slack today- didn't clean it for me. Oh well, guess I can let her off, it was still pretty clean.

Jim, it might look nice, but it doesn't pay to look too closely. I keep getting these bizarre gouges and scratches on the fairings, buggered if I know where they come from. Plus the suspension is worn out, and it has a low rpm stutter. Still does 125+ on the dyno though- not bad for a 16 year old bike
