    KB shame?

Is there something shameful about browsing KiwiBiker??
I have heaps of people who are on KB tell me that they only look at KB once a week, or only look at certain forums etc etc with a kind of smugness almost like the "I'm not addicted, I could give up at anytime" or "Oh, I never look at porn on the internet" kind of thing. What's with that?
I don't mind admitting that I browse KB probably 4 times a day, I don't open every thread, I don't feel the need to post every day, but I'm not ashamed that I do check what's going on in other forums other than say Buckets and Biker Angels, fuck, I even check out PD every couple of days just to be nosey.
    So what's with the shame/smugness?
I guess the people who don't lower themselves to look at Rant and Rave won't see this anyway, so I probably won't get an answer from them.

I'm not addicted at all, i don't even have to post on your thread, but i do get these strange urges to kill something if i don't, so don't mind me !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

When I'm at work & computer bound I probably log in 10 times a day, I work long days..
I get more news from here than anywhere else now & get a fair bit of entertainment from the banter. The downside is I'm developing a powerful urge to go racing, which is a shame coz I'm skint. Aah well, better looking here than myface or reading the footie scores.

Me too. When I'm at work, I'm always on here. I've changed my bookmark button to take me straight to the ispy page though. It's better than doing work

This is my (in)sanity escape hidey-hole. When I ain't riding .. I'm thinking about it! Oh, for those halcyon days where I could ride willy-nilly (real life has caught up with me for a while ... )

I spend many hours in an empty shop, so fill a lot of that time by mooching around on KB...oh and playing computer murdering games and the occasional word game as well...and reading books...and snoozing in the chair...

I'm not addicted either, it's just that work gets in the way sometimes. Still, running an internet based business means I'm on the computer all day, so it's not too hard to flick on to KB from time to time.

And being self-employed means the boss doesn't get on my back about it...

hehe, oh well, we are not ashamed, out and proud and all.
Oh well, I don't get it, maybe they're trying to prove they have a "life" whatever that is, hey, so do we, just when our "life" is not full of other shit it's quite nice to see how others are wasting their time too.
