Absolutely fantastic day out- great conditions, track, organization. For my first time out it couldn't have been better (maybe a little quicker possibly). Many thanks to OMCC for the opportunity and time taken to impart some wisdom. Excellent to hangout with great people. I had a blast particularity the last run with Andi. (i really HAVE to get those performance mods done) Can't wait to do it again.

is it true you have to be an omcc member to go in one of your "have a go days"?

Hi PSYCHO, no you don't have to be a member of the OMCC but you must be a member of a club affiliated to MNZ. If we were oversubscribed with entries I would expect OMCC members to get preferrential treatment but i would expect there to be space for all. Its a great club anyway. You would be most welcome - next one is scheduled for November this year. So long as you don't live up to your KB user name on the track you will have a ball!
Keep an eye on the OMCC website. http://www.otagomotorcycleclub.org.nz/1.htm
If you want to get on the track before then check out the SMCC races at Teretonga as they usually have a class for "Have A Go" guys to get some track time.
