Bloody southerly started about 2 mins after I left home (alone- sob!). Never mind, at least it didn't rain. Had a good ride.

Anyhoo, I thought it might be an idea to mention the minor road works that's about. There's some random seal patching around Rapaki (after Lyttleton). It's well marked going out, but coming back there's one sign missing- make sure you remmber where it all is as it's on a bend. They're also doing some work on the main hill on the Aka's side just down from the Hill Top- watch this bit as the sign indicates you can do 100 and then there's a bit where they're doing something on the other side of the road and some of the shit is coming into the downhill lane.

Just did the run today with 30UTD and Manuboy..... Biff piked or seriously under the thumb or something, cold but a sweet ride all the same did a we adjustment to the frount end which I think made a differance.... you know how it is, mostly in the head but hey if it works

Great ting about the Hiltop run this time of year is the lack of traffic, however 3 coppers, only 1 being bothered to flick his radar on.... so that i dont mind.
The road surface is about as sweet as its ever been up there including the Kiwi rd..... good ride lads, next time aye
    cheers DD

emmmmmmm................ well, how the hell you hear about that then? Just aswell it was my naked bike so no real damage done, but to the old pride, Kickaha grined and said nothing but that wee toe rag K14 split his sides laoughing.... and what made it worse after I chased the hump down I did it again.... but nobody sore it that time.

Blast. Missed this ride to met some of the locals.
Was digging up the spuds and working on the car that day.

Either way, read this post today (oops) and oh dear, bike isn't quite healthy enough for a good run just yet (see my other recent posts).

Nice to read there are some Chch runs which don't head out too far.
