I'd love to Pussy - be nice to meet you, unfortunately I have started a new job and cannot take the time off - but Manfield is certainly on my list of "to-do's" as I have done Taupo already.

Unbelievable!!!!!
This is such a rich comment from someone who has ridden with me only on two occassions - and someone who also made reference on this post in relation to not riding fast - and who has been reckless with their wife on the back too! I can corner as quick as the guys and this post was not about how fast or slow people ride, but why arrogant men like yourselves feel women should be on the back and not in the front of a group.

I have done many rides where I have not wanted to ride fast - and to hell with you lot who spout off that I cannot ride well, as that just confirms Ratti's post that men have attitudes where women riding are concerned. And you all need to check your man-hood, and cannot handle it - so lets just post up that she is useless and can't ride for shit !!
Frankly I do not give a rats arse to what you think. Nor do I care to ride with such narrow minded people. I've hardly even been riding as of late, but as you are so opinionated, go ahead..... spout off what ever you like

Mmm no I think this has been more about the need for someone to have to tell the world what a great rider thay are, its sprinkled all through KB in numerous threads. Male or female, it doesnt really matter but people do get tired hearing about how great someone thinks they are, the rest of us .. we just quietly get about getting out there for the ride

Exactly. Friendly 'banter' is one thing...but egos checked at the door.
Oh - and egos don't last long on the track either....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Quite the contrary. Ratti's post that started this thread is about men's attitudes to women who ride - in the sense that women riders are often viewed as 'easy'. You know - up for it...go off like a rocket...enjoy making the beast with 2 backs...will fuck anything in trousers.
Her post had nothing to do with attitudes towards riding itself. Either men's or women's.
Nobody cares if you're fast, slow or in between. But everyone is sick of hearing from you about how fast you are. And how there's so few for you to ride with.
And yet, every time someone 'challenges' you to do a trackday or somesuch, you have a reason (which is seen as an excuse) why you can't.
Most of us don't want to say anything to (really) upset you, but we've had enough. We're telling you - we don't want to hear it anymore.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Ratti, just find some new riding mates. The guys up here are great and most men are. The rest are not worth your energy, love.
    See you soon!

Funny thing is - there are people who don't ;ike to ride with me because of my attitude and there are people who do and then there are people who I won't ride with because I'm convinced they are out to kill me... We are all coming from different angles..

I've met plenty of female riders with HUGE attitudes intent on proving just how much better they are than me... (since my modern bike is 30 years old that not exactly difficult) and I'm a silly old man intent on being an olderer old man... In general I tend to give female riders a very wide berth until we get to know them.. (exceptions for those who know who they are ;-))

WE yes WE because often the gorgeous Victoria rides with me pillion and usually she ends up getting a lecture about riding her own bike blah blah blah ... Shes GOT her own bike waiting for her to want to learn but we like riding together... We've been married 30 years and we still like each other but some strumpet thats been 3 times divorced still told me off for 'making' Vicki ride on the back??? Theres no answer that will satisfy some folks so we toddle off happy as Larry....

Ratti i do believe this is just one of those times that maybe you should choose another group to ride with......They sound alittle on the "dickhead" side......I am generally the only chick when we ride down this way unless it's a big ride & they are a great bunch but then im the sort of person who tends to put people in their place when they are that disrespectful.....

MSTRS my dear man if i could golden bling then it would be going to you for sure........Your comment was so on the money i had to have a laugh.....first one of the day so thanks for that.....

Crazyhorse you are an IDIOT!!!!! Have you not noticed how it;s only you that blows your own trumpet? Gee i wounder why that is? If you think your that bloody awsum on the road how about doing what MSTRS said.....Take it too the track.....Whats that i hear???? Oh you don't want to cuz you will be showen up for the twat we all know you are?
Ok i wasn't going to reply to this as it was best left untouched i thought.....then i thought again.
    Well done Coffeejunkie!
Often we hear the long winded BS that people come up with as to their devastating riding ability and when you come along side they are often lacking some major skills.
I like riding with people who are quiet and unassuming about their abilities but ride confidently anyway.
Gloaters get nothin from me. Correct, there is a track near all of us that can be used with that sort of attitude. Thats if ya up for it of coarse!

Jeez Drongos like this get me wired up sometimes.
