Well, being a boy, sometimes we feel it's necessary to offer a disclaimer. We don't mean anything by it.

    Relax!

"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

Not quite clear on what this thread is on about but many riders talk about their families. It's natural conversation and don't see how that can be a bad thing.

Hahaha this made me laugh at a memory...

my first ride ever on a bike was on the back of a harley that was taking "kids" for a ride around the block at a local event (only last year). I stood in line, payed my $2.00 and the kind man took me for a hell of a spin down the highway. Half hour later we returned. His long grey pony tail was flicking in my face, I was holding on tightly to his lovehandles, then he moved my hands up to his "moobs" for a more secure grip.

Ahhh he thought it was so funny. Well, actually it was. Lovely chap really, and thats the day I decided I wanted to ride motorcycles. All thanks to him and his moobs!

Sad fact is, men tend to need lots of reassurance and there are some who don't think before they speak.
Or some that do, and we women can be hyper-sensitive and over analyse? Works both ways at times I guess! (No reference to OP )

Ratti dearest, you can come ride with me any ol time you want, no pressure here, me thinks it was more likely the boys were! remiinding themselves of their wee woman back at home, but ya never know. I'm sure they would have got an earful if you had really thought there was anything to it.
Don't sweat it, let it roll on over the top and get on with riding heaps with good mates, boys an girls.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
