Who was the predator here?? Oh it’s the guy because he met them on the net. So who knows who first initiated the contact?

The link does not say this but could the girls be friends looking for a mark.

One of the girls according to the Judge was extremely intoxicated and has now resorted to self harm. Was there any disposition for this prior to having sex with this guy.

And why if she was so drunk was there no rape charges laid?

Some may see this as a defence on this mans behavior it is not but on this score as mentioned I am not about to throw stones with out some more info on this.

Perhaps the Judge got this one right……………..has that occurred to some…………. or is it just plain old fashioned jealously that is masquerading as self righteous indignation because some guy dipped his wick in lush fourteen year old?

Maybe you get smart arsed lawyers (I know it's their job) that argue that a similar punishment should be handed out to this guy, because a 36 year old woman did it last year. I'm not saying it happened that way... but don't you cite other underage sex cases when defending your client? (Out of my depth, feel free to correct me)... if that's the case i'd be very dissapointed...

I don't think they cite sentance of other trials in court. Case law yes if the lawyer bvelives it is relevent to the case. Sentances may be discussed in chambers as is anything the Judge or lawyes believe to be relevant.

I was actually thinking along the lines of whether there was actually any evidence that this was the really the case, or whether it was only once her parents found out...

well whenever they're in "consulatation"... if YOU were innocent, wouldn't you kick up a fuckin stink and let the world know? wouldn't he have a right to go to court if he thought he was being wronged? plus why wouldn't you ask for name suppression?

Not that I've tried but I suspect I wouldn't enjoy a 14 yo. I would need someone that could accommodate my girth if ya now what I mean
