that post I made wasnt the best I meant 290 bucks plus then all the fees for getting there especially if your from the south etc, Im not complaining about the price at all more just saying possibly why people might not have entered, I would love to have entered it but I had entered the Pacific club round and dad couldnt have the time off work to get to Hampton Downs for the Friday and Monday off plus being in cast now puts me off riding full stop. And also I agree just looking at videos and photos that its an awsome circuit and congratulate the people who made it

Hey youre fine Ivan. I was enjoying Craig being Craig as he would have had a stupid smile on his dial as he was typing.

The fees to race at HD may have come as a shock to many but in real terms we have been paying less than the going rate for years, when you compare the costs to say the UK we are overall very cheap in this country.

My point also is that there were a number of people singing the praises of Superstock, but where are they when it comes to entering?

Craig is right, to enter and race in this round you would learn more than in a ''month of Sundays'' doing winter racing.

There is nothing wrong with the fees, last puke was $250 so I think an extra $40 for the upgrade is well worth the cost. If you are complaining about an extra $100 than the SI rounds then you shouldn't be racing. That is only 500km of petrol or less than a quarter the cost of a set of tyres. Go overseas and then you will have something to moan about, think $400+.

Really?? Do you really like it? Nah, not taking the piss, but do you like it? Personally I don't. Too stop/start for me. I don't believe anyone from the motorcycle fraternity was asked for any input. But I guess, once the facilities are fully built, it will be a great place to be.

Heres the thing, IF I go up I've never seen the track before and could only get there for Saturday & Sunday realisticly could I qualify considering I was just under the 115% for the superbikes at Manfeild. And thats the other thing because I'm in open stock am I qualifying 115% of superbikes or open stock?
Wouldn't be racing if it wasn't for:MotoMart, Pirelli, EBC Brakes, Ripecoffee.co.nz, Slotmedia.co.nz, Totalbodyshop.co.nz and Wurth

Yeah but if a caveman was given a pencil and a piece of paper would he design something with 3 wheels and inherent instability? Moreso on a challenging track with elevation changes.

I'm working in NaeNae at the moment, most of the locals are not too many chromosones from caveman,.
I bet if I gave them a pencil and a bit of paper they'd pick there nose with one and wipe their arses with the other. On second thoughts they'd be unlikely to even bother wiping their arses there, probably look for some sort of recreational tobbaco to put in the paper, and use the pencil to lever of your hubcaps in all honestly.

Hey look any SI' or lower NI racer wanna go up, i can make room in the van?? It'll cost you almost nothing to go up (im going either way, call it a tank of dielsel (maybe 60ish bucks) and im happy), so if your considering it give me a PM or txt on 021744153 and im postiive we can sort something out. if your wanna be a racer, nats is the place its at, and if you think otherwise, your an idiot.

if you can do it then you should, we had good fun at manfeild and that was my first time at the circuit and i only ran the saturday and sunday, slowpoke was offered my some tyres and i almost have the entry together so it would be good to turn our battle into 2 rounds.

I think you're talking about the old 1930's sidecars Robert! I can take my hands off mid corner, down the straights, wave with one hand while doing 2 points, and guess what..... its as stable as hell!! I bet you couldn't say that of alot of top Superbikes.......

and I certainly don't think he'd draw a 2 wheeled vehicle without training wheels!! I mean, for a start, where's he gunna place his kill, his pillaged woman and his beer??

Challenging track??? HD??? Elevation changes??? Dude, I used to be a pilot, that ain't elevation changes!!!!

Mt Gambier in South Australia - now that's elevation changes!!!!!

Damn, fuck, I would love to do it. Just can't afford it. If only they announced this a month or so ago!!

It's an awesome opportunity for us to be able to prove that running Streetstock in every round @ Nats would be fully supported in grid numbers. Got a pretty decent turnout at Manfeild compared to most other classes. I was gutted to be sitting on the side with a blown engine....

Surely there's some streetstock racers in Auckland!!!

Yea I do I love it, I think I have been around doing the same old thing for to long but the track has some character I think and is a lot of fun to ride. It would have been nice as you say for someone to have some imput but I guess we really dont count in there big picture.

I thought that Slight (sp?) was consulted on the track design?
