    A few things..

Streetstock was not "one of the biggest classes in South Island Nationals"
It was TWICE as big as the next big one, 600SP.( SS had 32 entries.)
Success for this class was close racing, plenty of it , and SAFELY. Most rounds never saw a
red flag out, some never even saw a yellow. Thats where it's at.
And no, they don't bludge off the meeting. A few years ago the Streetstock class paid two and half
times as much per track minute than Superbikes!

Buckets do not race with Streetstock at the South Island National, rounds, never have.

Yes, Billy, roll on MNZ rules for all clubs in Streetstock and encourage the 250four strokes,
even if they're slow and expensive. It will grow to be good when they get separate scoring,
which will be soon I hope.

For SS to prosper it needs only the current rules and the addition of 4 simple things
    Recruit, Support, Train, Promote.

250 four strokes slow??, i dont think so, they go alot better around the track in every area better than the 150's...

So again - AMCC have put themselves out there to cater to the voices and we have only 4 entries for the Street Stock Class that everyone wanted.

Sorry Oyster, tecnically untrue. Yowling and I ran FXRs at the Nats Ruapuna round 3 years ago and ran midpack. This was before they were modified in any way. So in looks they were not unlike a RG, but were entered and considered as streetstocks (fitted into the s/s rules) these bikes wouldn't now.

Ummm, nah. You guy's changed your mind at the very last minute and gave us around 10 or so day's to come up with the necessary coin. If I had been given about a months notice then I would be there even if i'd had to have eaten instant noodles for a month to do it.

How many confirmed entries for all classes mate??? Is there any chance that it will be cancelled due to lack of entries???

Absolutely not. As at Tuesday we had 11 Superbikes with 3 still to confirm and 17 600's with 2 still to confirm. We've got heaps of marshals now so it is all go!!!

Exciting new track....NZTT event.....cheap racing class....weather forecast looks good....doesn't matter if it's there's only a day's notice I would have thought folks would be howling down the phone to get their entries in. It's just sad.

Well if money grew on trees maybe..... For me its a total lack of funds, funds I would have diverted , read put off paying this month (power bill, telephone, food) to have raced. I dont get paid again until after the event.

Thats a bit unfair, you gave them just over a weeks notice so what did you expect?

Obviously you need a miracle...or a better paying job, or better budgeting skills or....
I mean, you are rich enough to race, but you don't have money set aside for a meeting, where at the last minute, you may just be allowed to enter.
Pfft girl, get you shit sorted.....
