Ya ha, like most other 'middle class NZers' I would say.... although I have been tempted by the thought of getting loans to fund my racing at times the thought of being debt free in a couple of years is much more comforting. By then I will be skilled enough to ride a "real" bike anyway!

I was waiting for the "we invited you-but you didnt turn up" bleating from the organisers (re streetstock)
If you had the vision to have included this class at the beginning you would have had 25+ bkes im sure.................. but using us a a fill in when the entries are low hardly counts as an invitation to me.
Yes most of the riders are at school and not able to suddenly drop everything and travel to the opposite end of the country......but with some forward notice/planning the South Islanders would have got together and sorted out a soloution.
Maybe you organisers MIGHT do it different next year................. or maybe NOT
We had around 10 NEW riders at training session on friday evening................ I rest my case!

The above reply by Swerve is what would happen too if some people got their way and allowed competitors to drop their worst round. People would just not turn up to a round, and then the organisers would be in the situation as above - hastedly trying to get the numbers to break even.
I feel sorry for the AMCC being the final round. I bet they wish they weren't! Broken bikes, broken bodies, lack of money........
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

I understand your frustration at the way things are going, but I don't think that statement is very fair.
