I tend to agree with you Skunk and i'd like to add that you (vic club) & the pacific club treat all your helpers wounderfully......Yes i can say that as i'm grid help, Even tho i belong to no group i put my hand up to help, The more marshalls the better the safety is really

At the end of the day if you don't have the help then you don't have the race events.
    DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP

Don't wait for the perfect moment......Take the moment & make it perfect.

Nice to have pocketloads of money like you, eh.
I'll prepare a 'special price' entry form since you're so keen to help finance the clubs so they can pay for marshals.
Give something back to the sport occasionally.
Our marshals are like gold and we treat them as good as we can. We'd love to give them what they're worth but we can't afford to.
Youve miss understood my post, i said "personly" that means i would...not you would, i know there is people out there who want to marshel for free, and that great, but not everyone does.

I dont moan about race meetings on the way home, every meeting ive ever been to has been well organised and thought through.
Volenteers are important, but i was tlaking about myself, i have other things to do, ive got ncea school exams, raicng ect, if it dosnt pay to make my racing cheaper, then i wouldnt do it.

I was going to marshel at Hampton downs nationals, but now they are running a streetstock class. Its all nice for you guys to sit on your computors and bitch about helping for free but how many of you do it??, ive marsheled a few times now,so yes i do help clubs out!

I have many other things to do too. But I spend (on average) 3-4 hours a night putting into racing for others. How many hours do you think these "well run" meetings take? If you have time to race - you have time to help. BTW: Volunteering means for free.

They need to ad F4 to the programme, it is after all the premiere class. That would easily double the numbers from 45 to at least 90 and only need to run 1 extra race. One big bucket race has as many entries as the whole National series , mmm something wrong here !
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues
