Heading to the Coromandel - Recommend me some roads/tracks please.

I am planning to head over to the Coromanel over the next few weeks, never been there before, can anyone recommend some good roads/rides I could do while I am over there?

Advroutes seems to be devoid of any up that region, so maybe some I could tracklog with the gps for the site?

Probably be staying in Pauanui and may do a run up to Port Jackson on the way there.

we looking at coro on the sat 3 heading for the east cape..

Just highlight all the main gravel routes & go do 'em, there are a few crossing over the peninsula, the 309 road & the Kopu-Hikuai & definitely go all the way up both sides to Fletcher Bay & Stony Bay, it's all good. Nice road riding up there too.

Hey Joe if you guys want to camp on my lawn on the way to/from Coro you are welcome, let me know.

clint will catch up, as on friday we looking to ride the forest section we did with you, from the napier taupo road to urewera scenic hiway to waikeremoana and up the motu...
not sure where to get on to the forest road..
