    How about €116,000 fine for driving 80 km/h in a 40 km/h zone? That happened in Finland in 2003.
    Finnish speeding tickets are relative to the offender's last known income.

    Damn, you can buy 3/4 of a DECENT house here in christchurch with that amount of money.

    Hell, knowing NZ they would pay some drivers instead of fining them after it was found they was on a benefit and earning a minus quantity - or some shit like that....
