    A perfect evening...

On friday we all met at 4pm. Got gear, bikes and people sorted. First aid, steward, clerk of the course.
Tick, all sorted. We had 11 brand new of near new young riders from 10 to 19 years old.
All had a coach to work with them one on one throughout the evening. 2 classes, fast and slow.
Highlights? Seeing little Jack, 10 years old, riding a motorbike for the first time. In his first 12 min session
he only got one lap in! By the last session he could do TWO!!! He rode really well and will come back
this Friday and Sunday for more.
And then there was James, 12 years old and has ridden Young Junior Road Race for 2 years. We insist
they get one on one supervision / tuition at all times in this class. In the last session he got out on the
track and an NZ champion 125GP rider went out after him on another 50 to catch up and be with him.
He said later "gee he was flying, I had to put my head down for a whole lap before I caught up to him!"

It's all on again this Friday 26th, and on Sunday morning 28th at the Endurance race meeting.
To register call / txt pete at 0274303662. New riders and young ones especially welcome.
