What can I say………an absolutely fantastic day!!!!

Apart from a small delay getting into the circuit a great day was had by all.
Full groups and fine weather were the order of the day we even managed to accommodate several people on the reserve lists.
Mike Mallard from Star Insurance confirmed our level 1 status from an insurance point of view and presented us with a cheque. Cycletreads provided an excellent service is tyre changing, discounted retail sales and Nick was on hand for suspension and set-up advice.

Thanks must also go to our list of star instructors this year, Sam Smith, Steve Briggs, Avalon Biddle, and Jaden Hassan along with Paul Dobbs, Paul Pavletich and Vince Sharp. We also must thank the huge part the Marshalls play, Angela and her team work tirelessly to make you day possible.
St Johns thankfully had a very quiet season; I think they only got to drive their ambulance out on the circuit once this season.
The day simply wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for Colleen and her organisational skills, she’s the one who takes your money and keeps you in the loop.
To all the instructors who (as the rest) give up their time plus provide their machines for little more than petrol vouchers…Thank you.
It takes a massive effort to put on an ART day and many people are involved believe me we all enjoy doing it and look forward to doing it all again next season. Thank you to all for a great seasons work.

It’s inspiring to see so many familiar faces, some of whom have attended every day we have run this season and it’s even better to see you progressing through the groups. We have had almost 600+ participants at our events this season and the ART experience keeps getting better and better, we strive to make the day the best we can and ensure you get the most out of it. Please remember to give us your feed back (both good and bad) believe it or not we do as much learning as you do and its your feed back that points us in the right direction.

More and more women are attending and mixing it up with the guys (just quietly its you girls that seem to do the biggest improvements on the day). We have secured the services of a very experienced female instructor for next season to give some feminine flavour to the male dominant instructor mix……thanks Dawn, its taken us most of the season to convince her to give up her valuable time!

Group 4 guys and girls, (for those that aren’t already) why not think about going racing?? The next club championship round is on next Saturday at Pukekohe, come along and see what it’s about. I and others will be there to answer any questions you may have. It would be great to see bigger grids and I’ll guarantee you’ll love it.

Keep an eye on the AMCC web site over the winter for information and dates for next season.

On behalf of the AMCC ART crew thank you all for an excellent season and look forward to seeing many of you again next season.

And thanks to you and the instructors for keeping us all honest (and safe).

Speaking of which, you need a new photo of that up somewhere... On your profile it's missing some paint. Also, the bike in the background has lost some paint and gained a lot of coolant splatter?

You need to create a photo gallery, or post them to your blog.
