Yes, the Bombay exit. It is the second sign heading South out of Auckland labelled "Pukekohe".

The "petite" girl in the white boots is Avalon Biddle - who came second in the national championships.

ps. Come and introduce yourself to me next time now you know who I am ...

Awesome day, thanks to everyone who helped organise it, thanks to p.dath and R Sole for making sure I didn't get lost and helping me get the bike into shape to limp home.

Now I've just got to fix the fairing mount that tore loose, figure out where all its oil went and why its been running on 3 cylinders since session 3...

What a great finish to the season for ART!! TOTO is right on the mark here guys, we should take this opp and make some noise about all those behind the scenes, the Marshalls especially that volunteer their time, arrive before everyone else, depart after everyone else and sit at the side of the track all day in the sun in hot fashionable orange overalls unnoticed by us lot unless we really need them.

lets hear it for the marshalls

Big thanks to Kiwi Graham for letting me go out there. AND bif thanks to Shaun for being my bitch for the day :-) --He even put the warmers on for me
Highlight of the day--unquestionably the last frentic session. Kawarider and I had a right royal ding dong battle. He was slightly ffaster in Jennian I was faster in Castrol --He braked later into the harpin Im earlier and harder on the gas.-7 mad laps dukin it out and We caught a backmarker with me leading. Took me a lap to sus a passing spot and clearly he had the same idea and took the pair of us in one go. next lap and it was the ol black n white flag. So pipped to the post was ol frosty.
Was goot to shake off the rust and just relax and have a good time.
Small apology to the lines bike in session 1--I probably looked pretty errattic for a lap or three.

Wow, she was impressive! Sure I will ... Keith Brock Instructor Group 2 is a good friend of mine, he initially wanted to teach me to ride, but we never got around to it... I kinda went off on my own and learnt.. but I know I have a great teacher if I need one. Geordie is "I want a race bike now"... geez can't take him anywhere. Will look out for the yellow cbr, and you next time... now I have the connection. Did you see what Group 1 Instructor was riding, I believe he was a kber... SV1000R I think, the bike was very nice. (think I got the right guy).

Hell yeah! Thanks so much to all the marshalls and other volunteers. Giving up your day so that the rest of us can wobble around the track.

    Highly appreciated!

Nope unfortunately my bike is back in the gremlins workshop for some more fettling. Its aparently squatting too much and other stuff --Me I was riding -but he was watching my "style" and has to me suptle changes planned.
Seems pointless going out tail end of the season so i'll be back out at begining of the season -a few more track days under the belt and a fair bit more personal fitness.

Yes- thanks a hell of a lot to teh marshalls - it must be a thankless job sitting in teh sun all day watching other people ride. Awesome efffort.

As a rider, it can feel mighty lonely on those corners (especially when you have missed your braking marker) - but it is comforting knowing that there is always a friendly face on the corner...

And thanks to AMCC for organising the MOST AWESOME day that I have ever had...
I will definitely be back again!

The difference in my riding from start to finish was marked.
