Metservice is predicting rain at the moment, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. I'd be ok with rain, but cold by itself isn't much fun.

I'm actually the other way round - don't mind wearing my "fat suit" for the day to keep warm, but don't trust my tyres on a wet surface. They slip and slid all over the place. Gives me the willies.

That's why I like it though. More demanding, so it's a good opportunity to really improve your skills.

So very true - it will be good for me to gain that further experience and confindence that I am really needing in the wet. Might have to wear a rubbish bag though - or just toughen up

I'll try not to stink though, sure I'm not too much of a tight arse to buy me a NEW rubbish bag, instead of stealing the in use one. I did say try - no promises.

On a related note I suppose it would be a bad idea to eat bean nachos the night before and wear a water proof rain suit.......... mmmmm leakage.

I know that feeling chick - nothing worse than tyres you just can't trust. But as Sentox said, it will be a great chance to learn some very valuable skills in weather some of us might choose not to ride in on a regular basis.

Going to be a win win on the day, we are all going to have a fantastic day rain or shine.

    Sooooo excited.

Best thing to do is get out there and use it as good experience. If it rains, well bummer, but at least by the end of the day your confidence should improve, even if we are all a tad damp.

There are 3 spots left if anyone else wants to join us on Monday, it will be a great day regardless of the weather and we have some extra "stuff" that you are going to love - including a coffee cart to keep you warm!
