I'll probably sit this one out, I need some more time for the screw holes to fill in so ok for Easter.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Was hoping to make this one (would have my first race since November last) and then Easter, but finally got the bucket going with new piston and rings, took it out to run it in, blew a hole in the piston and seized the bottom end!!
Have managed to find a new bottom end for a frantic rebuild before Easter, but will probably be pushing my luck.
All going well I will turn up on Sunday to wave a flag though.

    Hi

Clearly you have a timing issue if it blew a hole in the piston, that's detonation. Best to throw another rod in it, old cranks that have been sitting around always tend to fail when asked to make a race engine. The B/E bearing surface gets some rust pitting & it's on borrowed time.

Bugger off. We're not paying you to watch. Volunteer spectators are welcome though.
